Cobalt Truck Equipment is an Idaho based company that has been in business over 22 years, serving customers all over the United States. Currently, we employ over 100 people in 4 states. We specialize in mechanic’s trucks, lube trucks, service bodies, lift gates and more. 

The Sales Support Associate provides order and customer management assistance to the outside Territory Manager. This person is extremely computer savvy, tasked with all duties in assisting the Territory manager to deliver superior service and support. The Sales Support Associate greets and handles walk-in customers, takes incoming phone calls and outside sales requests for quotes. In addition, they complete final inspections on completed trucks including photos, weight, and fuel testing. Finalizing the shipping and receiving of completed trucks to the customer.

 Role and Responsibilities:

  • Are you organized? Are you comfortable working with computers? This job requires both!
  • The Sales Support Associate plays a key role as the inside partner to our Territory Managers. Your role will be to assist the outside Territory Manager with all tasks related to the sales process.
  • You will support the needs of the Territory Manager to process the paperwork needed to grow existing accounts and develop new customers.
  • The Sales Support Associate position is responsible for accurately requesting quotes, orders, and tracking the production of jobs.
  • You’ll play a key role in creating a professional image for the company.
  • You’ll also complete final inspections on completed trucks including taking photos and conducting weight and fuel testing.
  • In addition, you’ll coordinate the shipping and receiving of completed trucks to the customer.
  • In order to be successful, you’ll need to learn about commercial trucks and the companies that purchase them.
  • At Cobalt, we take a consultative sales approach in working with customers. If you understand the customer’s business, what they’re trying to do with their tools, then you understand their business needs. This will enable you to work with your Outside team members and develop solutions for their business. 


  • In this position, you will interact with our customers via phone and in person.
  • You’ll need to be self-motivated and self-disciplined, promptly following up with all customer inquiries.
  • You’ll need to possess strong people skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment focused on teamwork and customer service.
  • You’ll need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional presentation.
  • You’ll need to be able to keep organized, accurate records on daily activities.
  • Some companies provide a few finished products. We custom build nearly EVERYTHING we deliver. There are a lot of parts and pieces that go into a finished commercial truck. We need you to be able to learn complex product lines and vehicle equipment integration. We provide the training, you’ll need to have a desire to learn!
  • If you have experience with the following software programs it will be a big plus: SalesForce, MS  Word - Excel - PowerPoint
  • College degree preferred
  • Must have valid driver's license and must obtain Class B CDL within 6 months of employment.
  • Drug testing will be required.
